Corporate governance and directors’ duties
Advise clients on their compliance with corporate governance obligations, including directors’ duties. This advice is informed by LK’s experience with complex claims arising from large-scale governance failures.
Contract and policy reviews
Undertake reviews of contracts and policies before and after execution to test compliance with legislation and best practice, particularly in relation to termination, default, dispute resolution and insolvency clauses.
Sustainability and climate risk reporting
Advise on climate-related risk and sustainability reporting requirements to meet obligations under the xxx Act and avoid allegations of greenwashing.

Advise clients on identifying and responding to modern slavery risks in their supply chain, including preparing annual statements to meet the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), and coordinating equivalent requirements in other jurisdictions.
Security of Critical Infrastructure
Assist our clients to navigate and comply with the requirements of the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (Cth) and associated industry regulations faced by owners and operators of critical infrastructure.
Employment advice
Advise clients on their obligations under the Australian employment regime, including Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth), Work, Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth), Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth) and State equivalents.
Regulatory enquiries
Advise clients on responding to enquiries and investigations by regulators, such as the Australian Securities and Investment Commission, Independent Commission Against Corruption (South Australia), Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and more.
