Accessible Justice Project
Expanding access to civil justice
The Accessible Justice Project was established by LK with the University of Adelaide in 2020 to assist clients with civil disputes who are ineligible for public legal assistance but cannot afford private practice fees.
The AJP is a not-for-profit practice and registered charity in Australia, which offers legal services at significantly reduced rates to clients who have legal issues and disputes involving consumer protection laws, debt recovery, banking issues, defamation, property law, contested wills and estates, breach of contract, and loss caused by negligence or wrongdoing.
The practice is staffed by LK lawyers and its costs are underwritten by LK. LK is focused on playing its part in ensuring that all members of our community have the benefit of legal protections and remedies and alleviating the impact that barriers to legal assistance create for our legal system and society.
