Expertise and Practice
Liam focuses on commercial litigation, arbitration and related investigations, with significant experience in construction and infrastructure disputes (including claims for major defaults, delay and disruption) and claims of professional negligence in Asia and the Middle East.
Liam is skilled in the management and analysis of vast volumes of data, requiring advanced investigative and project management skills, and technical proficiency in eDiscovery platforms, including Nuix and Relativity. Liam is well regarded for his technical legal skills, commerciality and the support he extends to colleagues and clients alike.
With a strong commitment to the wider community, Liam leads the firm’s efforts with JusticeNet’s Annual Walk for Justice and is a member of the Pudlurrinthi (Aboriginal Law Student Mentoring Program) management committee. Liam was formerly on the International Bar Association's Arb40 Subcommittee and the Steering Committee for ACICA45.
Liam commenced at LK in 2018 and has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide. Liam is admitted in the Supreme Court of South Australia. He is a member of the ACICA Tribunal Secretary Panel.

Representing the South Australian State Government on various strategic and legal issues concerning major defaults, delays and disruption, in arbitral and Federal Court proceedings arising out of the AU$2.5 billion public-private partnership for the design, construction and operation of the State’s major health facility.

Expert determination arising from damage to major infrastructure, conducted under the Resolution Institute Expert Determination Rules 2024.
Dispute relating to Public Lighting Consulting Services
Representing an energy consultancy firm in proceedings in the Supreme Court of South Australia against 62 respondents regarding the amounts paid for public street lighting services.
